#The Edit- Four New Things Tried & Tested

I haven’t done one of these snappy posts for a while and recently I have snapped up a few new bits of beauty to try and these definitely gets a thumbs up from me. It takes me a while to adjust to new products and of course takes some time to really try the products so some I’ve had for a little while and been putting to the test.

  • Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo I’ve ┬áhad a little sachet of this from Space NK before and remember really loving it. At the moment my hair is just rejecting all the shampoos’s I usually use and just decides to do it’s own thing (flat and goes greasy quicker). Not sure what I’m doing wrong but I have tried this range before and my hair feels amazingly soft afterwards. This shampoo I’ve been using for about 3 weeks now and I’ve noticed my hair is a lot softer and less flicky on the ends which is what tends to happen. I also love the smell of this which is a bonus and it’s a good hair day whenever this comes out to play.
  • IGK Rich Kid Coconut Oil Gel- I was excited when these launched in Space NK as I have heard so much hype about them. I’ve been using this after towel drying my hair and I use this alongside my Oribe Gold Lust Hair Oil and together they just work miracles giving my strands shine, moisture and smoothes the bottom for a sleek look. I find a little goes a long way with this and it’s perfect for my mid length hair without weighing it down. If you are after a new leave in product for your hair then I highly recommend this.
  • I’ve really been into this De Mamiel Restorative Cleansing Balm for a second cleanse in the evening. The texture of this is pretty thick but melts once you rub it in and turns to an oil/balm. I like to leave this on for a few minutes before removing it with a flannel and it leaves my skin feeling super soft and cleansed. I’ve tried a handful of cleansing balms and this one is definitely high on my recommendations and doesn’t leave your skin feeling greasy afterwards.
  • Tom Ford Nude Dip Eyeshadow Palette– I love Tom Ford Eyeshadow palettes, just putting it out there. I think the quality of them are incredibly good and pigmented, yes it’s expensive but in my opinion they are worth it and they have become my everyday staples. This palette is not new but I’ve had my eye on it for a while and decided to pick it up. The colour combination are warm neutrals and perfect for everyday wear or smoked up in the evening with a little of the darker shade and liner. If you looking to invest in eyeshadows then I highly recommend these TF quads, I’ve been wearing this and Cognac Sable in rotation for the past couple of weeks and work great for speedy morning routines.

Have you tried anything new recently you have completely fallen in love with?

Lots of Love.
