It’s been a while since I last updated you guys on my daily makeup and although I wear the same products on a daily basis I have been sneaking a few new beauty products in the last couple of months into my stash. During the colder months my skin craves moisturising products and I like to use highlighters to bring my skin back to life.
For my base I have been really loving this Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet I’ve actually had this in my stash but only got round to using it in the last month or so. I’ve always been a fan of the Vitalumiere Aqua but I came across this when repurchasing and it definitely doesn’t disappoint. The texture of this very velvety and I would say it provides a medium coverage and a demi matte finish. I’ve always got on with Chanel foundations and I’m probably the only one that actually likes the scent of them and they definitely get a thumbs up from me. I love how flawless this looks in photos and the staying power is also incredibly great lasting from day to night.
Suqqu Balancing Eyebrow Palette– This is my most recent beauty purchase and I actually look forward to filling in my brows in the morning. I was recommend this palette by my colleague and I am so glad I picked this up as it shapes and defines my brows whilst keeping them looking natural. I take the lighter shades to define the shape first and then go ahead and use the darker shade to mimic a thicker looking brow. I am a complete newbie with the brand and have heard so much about their products and performance and eager to pick up some more Suqqu products.
By Terry Designer Eye Palette Parti-Pris Sensual 100– I was a little hesitant mentioning this palette as I don’t think is no longer available since I picked it up from the Space NK sale back in December. This palette hasn’t really left my makeup stash and usually I do chop and change my eye colours and have a few daily opinions. The quality of this palette is incredibly good and I would say as good as my favourite TF quads.
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Do Me Baby– I do love a good lipstick and this has been my latest purchase and a good ‘un too. I have several of these and I just love how long wearing they are, this shade in particular is a dark rosy/plum shade and I think its the perfect amp of colour for this time of the year. If you are into matte lipsticks and looking for a neutral everyday shade then this one is worth checking out!
I like to switch up my mascara every now and again and lately I’ve been really into this Mac Haute and Naughty Lash Mascara. I’ve had a little sample a while back and really enjoyed using it so I decided to snap it up. What I tend to look for in a mascara is the volumising rather than the lengthening as I have fairly long lashes but just poker straight. This ticks all the boxes for me in terms of adding volume to the lashes and it holds a curl really well too. The other bonus I wanted to add about this mascara is the longevity of this and I don’t end up looking like a panda by 3pm.
What are your current makeup favourites?
Lots of Love.
