#The Edit- January Favourites

I am so excited to be writing this post as we have finally reached February *cheers* and I feel this past month I have really been shopping my stash and trying to finish up some products before purchasing more. I actually found some products that have been sitting in my stash for a while and this month I got to really play with them, do you get this? Hear me out on some of my highlights for this month…

Shu Uemura Nutri Nectar Cleansing Oil In Emulsion I have been using this every single day this month to remove my makeup in the evening and it’s been working a dream! This is slightly thicker than a cleansing oil, more like a liquid balm and it’s just so nourishing on my dry complexion this month. Whenever winter hits my skin leans more towards the dry side and this just quenches my skin with moisture whilst gently removing my makeup. Unfortunately for UK gals Shu Uemura has pulled out of UK market but you can pick up some products online or anywhere else in the world. I have tried a few of their oils and this is definitely a great one to use in the fall.

Sticking on the skincare topic I have found this La Mer Moisturising Cream to work great in the evening time as a treatment. I usually use the Soft Cream as I prefer the texture but this works well in my PM routine as a last step to seal in moisture and soothe my dry patches on my complexion. This winter has been pretty snappy and my skin just seems to drink this up in the evening. If you have slightly dry/dehydrated skin and on the market for a new moisturiser then this is definitely high on my recommendations.

Kiehls Creme De Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Butter I have got in the habit of moisturising my body everyday and during the colder months I like to switch to a cream to stop my skin shivering up into a prune. I’ve had this cream before and the smell is just absolutely divine, this reminds me of the Laura Mercier body creams but less heavy and the scent doesn’t linger too much. The texture of this is lightly whipped which makes it very quick to apply in the evening and keeps my limbs moisturised for up to 24 hours.

Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis– Well I have to say this is probably one of my best designer purchases I have made and I am still totally smitten about it. I’m actually planning on writing a dedicated blog post about it if you guys are interested about the bag. I have been wearing this every single day this month and it just goes with everything from jeans to formal work attire. I know this bag is super popular and I have seen a few gals carrying the original Monogram one but this Navy one is just so unique and preppy.

I have pretty much been living in my Stuart Weitzman 50/50 Over The Knee¬†Boots¬† this whole month. I snapped these up in New York back in September and they just go with everything. I got the grey suede version and I don’t really reach for them as much as these ones as I can wear them in the rain. I always get compliments on these and I think they are just very versatile and can be dressed up or down.I like wearing these with skinny jeans and a oversize sweater and or a shirt dress and tights and I find these boots really elongates my legs (which I am not complaining about) If you are after some over the knee boots then these Stuart Weitzman are some of the most comfortable I have ever tried!

I’m so excited for the upcoming month and there are so many things to look forward to! I hope you guys have had a fab January!

Lots of Love.
