Oh hey there! I feel like I’ve been so distant from blogging in the past month or so, I’ve had a family emergency so I’ve been in Hong Kong for the past week & work in general has just been super busy leading up to Christmas. Today I thought I thought I’d round up my most used beauty products for this month and I’ve been playing with some great new products from skincare to my everyday makeup stash…
Starting off with my skincare I have been slathering this La Mer Renewal Oil on most nights and even used it on my hair when I forgot my hair styling products! I harped on about this before and is is definitely one of my favourite product from La Mer in terms of results and performance. I use this in place of my moisturiser in the evening and in the morning my skin is radiant and looks rested. I also love how versatile this product is as you can use it in your hair, cuticles as well as giving your skin that extra nourishment. It’s a pricey number but mine has lasted me nearly a whole year as a little goes a long way! Definitely worth investing especially for winter!
My lips has been like shrivelled up prunes for the past couple of weeks and when I was in Hong Kong I discovered this Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask and it has worked wonders! This comes in a really cute pot and is packed full of Vitamins and Anti-Oxidants that quenches the lips whilst sleeping. I picked up the Apple-Lime scent but there were a few flavours to choose from such as Berry and Vanilla. This reminds me of the Bite Agave Lip Mask but not as thick, in fact I think I prefer this texture and it is equally as moisturising and perfect for the winter cold!
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Sheet Masks– You guys know my love for sheet masks and these are probably my most purchased of all time and definitely my favourite. I have been on and on about how good these are before and in my opinion a must have for winter! I taken these to Hong Kong with me and applied after a long haul flight and my skin instantly looked plump and hydrated. If you are looking for some new skincare then I would definitely recommend checking these sheet masks out.
Aveda Thickening Tonic– I’ve been using this for a few months now and I absolutely love it as it gives my hair so much texture and volume. Since I chopped my hair off into a shorter bob recently I have found it to work really well and the style stays put all day too. I’ve been using Aveda products for a few years now and I would definitely recommend it and this if you have fine hair that needs a lift or looking for more texture.
Tom Ford Eye shadow Quad Disco Dust– I pretty much have mastered my makeup routine in the morning and this eye shadow palette is the perfect everyday shade and you can smoke it up and intensify the look for evenings. I love how versatile these palettes are and I have to say the lasting power is amazing and you don’t get creased eye lids half way through the day. I love the colour combination of this and it is really flattering on my skin tone. I alternate between this and Cognac Sable and they are great everyday staples to have in your makeup stash.
What products have you been using in December that you have fallen in love with?
Lots of Love.
