#The Edit- Three Products That Saved My Skin

For the past week my skin has been at its worst state for a long time and since returning from vacation it started breaking out like no tomorrow. I have been trying a ton of products to rescue my skin and these are my top three products that have seriously worked for me and I would totally recommend them.

First up I been using this face mask more often than usual is this one, Origins Out Of Trouble. I’ve had this face mask for a while and only use this when things seriously get out of hands like now. This is a clay mask and it contains Zinc oxide and sulphur and also calming Camphor that works miracles on problem skin. This mask works in three steps, first to soak up excess oil and shine, sweep away dead debris and finally remove dead skin cell. Okay so that’s the background information but this mask is really lovely and great to use as a detoxifying mask. I’ve been using this just on the affected areas and leave it for 15 minutes and it really helps to soothe and clear my skin.

Next up we have a toner that I have been meaning to try for a while and was always drawn back as it is targeted for more blemished and oily prone skin. The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. This toner is a pretty strong toner and it does leave your skin feeling squeaky clean. I tend to reserve this for the evening as it can be pretty stripping and it doubles up to remove the last scrap of makeup in the evening leaving my skin feeling squeaky clean. This is a super affordable option and the whole range is great if you have more blemished prone skin.

Finally a oldie that I have been using on a regular basis and this Thermal Cleansing Balm from Omorovicza is a must have in my bathroom cabinet. I’ve been using this for a while and this is a really great deep cleansing balm and you guys know I love cleansing balms as they are so nourishing on the skin and leaves my skin feeling clean and this one in particular is made with Hungarian moor mud and I’ve been using this for a few years now and it’s one I always go back to. I found that sticking to what you know is great when your skin is a little confused and angry and it has worked for me.

Overall I really been enjoying my little routine and thought I’d share my little skincare story. My skin is a lot better now and I think it’s best to go back to basics when your skin is freaking out. I think it was a combination of different climate and food I guess but it’s so strange for my skin to break out like this. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen again.

Hope you have a nice day!
