Facial oils are having a moment and pretty much every brand has come out of their own version and they have become hugely popular. So let me talk you through what they are and some of my favourite facial oils I have rotating in my bathroom cabinet.
Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial- let’s start with a cult product, this is the first high end facial oil I have tried and have absolutely fallen head over heels for. I love Sarah a Chapman as a brand, they provide excellent high grade skin care and it’s a brand I been using for a very long time and would really recommend it. This overnight oil smells amazeballs, like you in spa and you take about a pump, rub it between your palms and massage this all over your face giving your skin it’s bedtime drink. I personally really enjoy massaging this over my face and spending a good few minutes doing it until the oil has completely sunk in and voila you go to sleep. In the morning your skin is more rejuvenated and looks really plump.
Sarah Chapman Morning Facial- this is a lighte version of the overnight facial and it actually works really well under makeup. I tend to use this when my skin is a little on the dry side and it moisturises my skin making it look more dewy and plump. This is a good one to start off with if you just a beginner with facial oils and with all Sarah Chapman products they work really well and highly effective.
Sunday Riley Luna Oil- I love this oil so so much. It’s a new favourite of mine and I have noticed a difference in my skin after just one night and I’ve been using this religiously every other night. I’ve done a whole review about this so if you interested in checking it out then I highly recommend you do. This comes out a murky blue colour, looks almost like ink but disappears after massaging in.
Laura Mercier Rose Nourishing Oil- now this is a little different than my other oils. I tend to use this in the day and it works really well under makeup again giving your complexion a little boost of radiance and moisture. I never really tried anything from the skincare range from Laura a Mercier and I’m really happy with this oil. The smell of roses is really calming and the oil sinks into the skin pretty quickly too.
Pai Rosehip Oil- this one is one of those oils that has a lot of hype and I have to say it’s worth it. Pai is a brand that is catered for sensitive skin I always reach for this when I’m feeling a little spotty or when j have just broken out and it’s good in reducing marks. I enjoy mixing this with my night cream or just apply this after my toner. It’s not as heavy or as greasy as other oils and it’s really an affordable too. I have recommended this to friends in the past with scarring issues and acne scars and it works really well.
So these are my recommendations for facial oils, hope you all found this useful. Have a great day!
